licenses
Licensing is always ambiguous and inevitably boring. If questions come up, please: [email protected]
Bendito Mockup offers two types of licenses: Standard and Extended. Our Standard License is intended to meet the needs of individuals and small companies. You can do pretty much with the Standard License:
- Number of users: individuals or companies up to 15 users.
- Personal use (no financial gain): unlimited.
Commercial use: up to 500 End Product sales, up to 5.000 physical advertisements, up to 500.000 impressions for digital advertising.
This is what you can do with the Extended License:
- Number of users: individuals or companies of 15+ users.
- Personal use (no financial gain): unlimited.
- Commercial use: up to 10.000 End Products sales, unlimited physical advertisements, unlimited impressions for digital advertising.
Please read the complete terms of our licenses below (the devil is in the details, although we are very nice people). Feel free to get in touch if you need more clarification.
By downloading any product created by Bendito Mockup, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by our General Contracting Conditions.
Standard license
Our Standard License grants you a non-exclusive and worldwide license to make use of the product you have purchased from our website. Also, the use of any freebie product you have downloaded from our website is subject to the Standard License terms. This license is intended to meet the needs of small businesses, freelancers and students. Attribution is not required but who doesn’t love a mention on Instagram? You will probably make our day so, please, go ahead.
Things you can do:
1. Numbers of users (or seats)
Individuals or companies up to 15 users (or seats).
2. Personal use
You are licensed to use our product in an unlimited number of personal projects. “Personal use” means that you are not working under the instructions from a company or an organization. As a consequence, you may not charge money or receive any financial gain from these projects.
3. Commercial use: End Products for sale
You are licensed to create End Products that may be sold a total of 500 times. If you or your client intend to sell more than 500 units of the End Product, you must get an Extended License.
“End Product” is defined as a digital or physical product that you and/or your client plan to sell to more than one person. For instance: if you purchase one of our poster mockups, insert your design and incorporate our product (as image file) in your website in order to promote your designs and sell it to multiple people, that is a case of End Product. If you sell more than 500 units using our mockups to display your design —no matter if it relates to different designs or one single design— you must purchase an Extended License.
If you purchase one of our mockups, insert your design and incorporate it in a website designed for a single client, that is not an End Product for sale. However, If this client owns an e-commerce and wants to use our mockups to showcase their products or services and sells more than 500 units, your client must get an Extended License.
There must be a significant difference in End Products and our own original products. By that we mean that it must be obvious that expertise and effort have been put in order to add additional and new values to the product. Under no circumstances the End Product can offer the same value as our products, meaning that End Products cannot be mockups. Any form of competition with our own products will not be permitted, and we will pursue legal action if you are found to be using our products against these terms.
4. Commercial use: Advertising
You are licensed to create up to 5.000 physical advertisements for you or for your client. You are also licensed to create digital advertisements with a total of up to 500.000 impressions for you or for your client.
5. Commercial use: Social Media
Your are licensed to use our content for a total of up 5 business social media accounts. If you or your client intend to make use of more accounts, you must get an Extended License.
Things you cannot do:
1. Resale, redistribute or sub-license
You may not resale, re-distribute, license or sub-license our product with source files (PSD files), even if the re-distribution is for free or you have modified our product.
2. Identity fraud
Under no circumstance you may not falsely represent that you are the original author of any product you have downloaded from our website (whether it is paid or freebie). You may not redistribute or sell our products as if they are your own, neither make it part of a freebie.
If you have any questions about what is or isn’t allowed under our Standard License, please contact our team for clarification. Bendito Mockup will pursue legal action if you are found to be using our products against the terms of the Standard License.
